Greek Word Study:
Eternal: ‘aion’: from same as (always); properly, an age; (by extension) perpetuity (also past), eternity
Purpose: ‘prothesis’:from ‘protithemi’ (to purpose or plan), a setting forth, purpose; spoken of the eternal purpose and counsel of God (Ro 8:28; 9:11; Eph1:11; 3:11; 2Ti 1:9)
Realized: ‘poieo’: to make or do; to carry out, cause, execute, redeemed, realize; to make, do, expressing action either as completed or continued. {NASB95: “which he carried out in Christ Jesus”}
Lord: ‘kurios’: from ‘kuros’ (Supremacy); supreme in authority. Of the Lord Jesus Christ as Supreme Lord of the Gospel Dispensation, “Head over all things to the Church” (Rom 10:12; Rev 17:14) with adjuncts: “Jesus Christ the Lord” (…Eph 3:11…)
Have: ‘echo’: a primary verb “to hold” (used in very various applications, literal or figurative, direct or remote, such as possession, ability, contiguity, relation or condition). To have, to Hold, i.e. to have and to hold; implying continued possession.
Boldness: ‘parrhesia’: all outspokenness, i.e. frankness, (by implication) assurance: - bold (-ly, -ness). Confidence, courage N. from ‘pas’ (all) and ‘rhesis’ (n.f.) the act of speaking. Literally, “the act of speaking all that one is thinking” i.e. freespokenness as a characteristic of a frank and fearless mind; hence, boldness in speech and action (by implication) frank reliance, confidence, assurance (2Co 7:4; Eph 3:12; Heb 3:6; Heb 4:16; 10:19, 35)
Access: ‘prosagoge’: from ‘prosago’ (lead to); admission, access. N. from prosago, to bring near. A leading or bringing to. In NT, approach, access, admission, used always as access to God (Ro 5:2; Eph 2:18; 3:12)
Faith: ‘pistis’: from ‘peitho’, persuasion; i.e. credence; moral conviction (of religious truth, or the truthfulness of God) especially reliance upon Christ for salvation; (abstract) constancy in such profession: - assurance, belief, faith (-fulness). N. from ‘peitho’, to win over, persuade, Faith, trust, firm persuasion confiding belief in the truth, veracity, reality of any person or thing: Of Christ, faith in Christ; Of faith in Christ’s death, as the ground of justification before God, Saving Faith, found only in Paul’s writings (…Eph 2:8; 3:12…)
Lose Heart: ‘ekkakeo’; to fail in heart; faint – be weary. To turn out to be a coward, to lose one’s courage. In NT generally to be fainthearted, to faint or despond in view of trial, difficulties. Intransitively (Eph 3:13)
Glory: ‘doxa’: In NT, honor, glory by metonymy spoken of the occasion or source of honor or glory (Eph 3:13)
