Our Mission“Our Mission is to help people meet and follow Christ”. This means helping people come into a relationship with Jesus, and helping them to grow toward maturity in Christ. We exist to fulfill these four key biblical purposes: 1) Worship God, 2) Make Disciples (teaching), 3) Caring for One Another (Fellowship), and 4) Mission (Evangelism).
To help accomplish these purposes, our worship is Christ-centered and reverent, emphasizing congregational singing of biblically sound music that exalts God and teaches His truth. First Baptist Church is committed to the faithful exposition of the whole counsel of God. Through verse-by-verse preaching, we seek to proclaim Christ, uphold Scripture as our sole authority for faith and practice, and rely on the Holy Spirit to shape and sanctify God’s people. By God’s grace, we are a loving church family marked by genuine care, hospitality, and faithfulness to one another. Flowing from God’s Word, we joyfully pursue the Great Commission by making disciples through local and global gospel outreach. |
