The love of God toward Christ attributed to Christians. Predestined: ‘proorizo’: to limit in advance, i.e. (fig) predetermine: - decreed, predestined. Adoption: ‘uihothesia’: the placing of a son, i.e. adoption; in NT(fig) means adoption; from ‘huis’ (son) and ‘tithemi’ (to place): The sonship spoken of the state of those whom God through Christ adopts as His sons and thus makes them heirs of His Covenantal Salvation.
