Predestined: ‘proorizo’: to limit in advance, i.e. (fig) predetermine: - decreed, predestined. Purpose: ‘prothesis’: from ‘protithemi’; a setting forth; specially, I. the Show-bread ‘as exposed before God’; N. to purpose, to openly display something. II. Fig. what one proposes in one’s mind, or purposes to himself; spoken of the Eternal Purpose and Counsel of God.
