Word Study:
Hb: cunning: ‘ormah: trickery; or (in a good sense) discretion; - cunning, prudence (cleverness, calculation)
Hb: servant: ‘ebed: a servant, (male) slave, vassal. A masc. noun meaning a servant, a slave. Although the most basic concept of this term is that of a slave, biblical slavery was not the same as the slavery of modern times. The Term is also applied to those who worship God (Ne 1:10). The phrase, the servant of the Lord, is the most outstanding reference to the Messiah in the OT (Isaiah 42:1, 19; 43:10; 49:3. 5-7; 52:13; 53:11)
Hb: covenant: beriyth: a compact (because made by passing between pieces of flesh): - allies, covenant, be in league with, treaty. A fem. Noun meaning covenant, treaty alliance, agreement. The Lord never broke His covenants, He always remembered a covenant.
